Glen Doll lies at the top of Glen Clova. It is an area of spectacular scenery, with steep hills, Corries and Munroe's. The Glen lies within the Cairngorms National Park and also incorporates the Corrie Fee Nature Reserve which is home to many endangered plants.
Since April 1998 Angus Council has provided a Ranger Service for the Angus Glens based in Glen Doll. The Service comprises two full time countryside rangers.
The Angus Glens Ranger Service provides, manages and maintains visitor services including:
Information and advice on the natural heritage
Environmental Education Resource for schools, colleges and other informal groups
Information and advice for climbers and walkers
Advice to visitors regarding land management and access issues
Maintenance of footpaths, stiles, bridges, hill paths, forest trails and signs
Ranger led activities including guided walks, workshops and conservation work

Angus Council has announced that a New Ranger Base is to be built at Glen Doll.
