Dalhousie Lodge

The Dalhousie Lodge is a secluded, comfortable and well equipped country house, situated on the edge of Edzell Golf Course. Overlooking a sheltered garden with fine views of the Grampian Mountains, the Dalhousie Lodge is the perfect place for a large party to stay when visiting the glens. Access to the lodge is by a private drive and the grounds include a wonderful sheltered mature garden.

Many championship golf courses are within easy reach of the lodge, historic houses, castles & gardens are also nearby. Royal Deeside and north east Scotland are within 1 to 2 scenic hours driving. Deer stalking, Shooting, and fishing are also available in Glenesk and the surrounding areas in season.

The Dalhousie Lodge has 7 bedrooms which sleep up to 12, 2 cots, & 2 attic rooms which sleep 2. The Dalhousie Lodge is fully staffed, and full board is included in the price of your stay. If full board is not to your liking, self catering and "short stays" accommodation are both available.

Glenmark Cottage

Two storey traditional Highland cottage in remote location in Glen Mark. Built in 1870, modernised. sleeps 4 and baby. 1 twin and 1 double bedroom plus cot. Living room, Bathroom/WC and Kitchen. Calor gas water heating and cooker, Calor gas fire, open fire (firewood provided). Linen provided (not table linen). Rent includes gas. Car essential (last 3 miles approach road unsurfaced). No pets.

This cottage is truly in isolated splendour. The elements and the isolation combine to provide a unique atmosphere. Gas and candle lighting hark back to an early age.

Heatherbank Cottage

Two storey cottage in village of Tarfside, built in 1881. Modernised. Sleeps 5-6 and baby. 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms. Living room, Kitchen, Bathroom/WC. Electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, dryer. Open fire (firewood provided). Linen provided (not table linen). 2 dogs (no other pets) to be kept under strict control.
This lovely cottage is very well equipped and lies 100 yards from the bridge over the Water of Tarf, and 50 yards from the village shop.

 

Milton Cottage

Single storey cottage approximately 2 miles from the village of Tarfside. Sleeps 3. 1 double and 1 single bedroom. Living Room, Kitchen/Dining Room, Bathroom/WC, Open fire (firewood provided). Electric cooker. Linen provided (not table linen).

2 dogs, (no other pets) before 15th April and after 1st August. This beautiful cottage nestles in a tributary of the Water of Mark which flows only 50 yards away and is surrounded by rolling hills and moorland. Formerly a gamekeeper's cottage, the peacefulness and solitude is only interrupted by the variety of wildlife.

All cottages are certified by the Scottish Tourist Board.
