Glen Esk Caravan Park

Glenesk Caravan Park is situated near the foot of the Glen and is set in a birch wood. This lovely location ensures that caravans and campers can have privacy, but still be able to enjoy all the amenities the site has to offer.

Campers may also use the community field at Tarfside, courtesy of Dalhousie Estates. This field is opposite the village shop, and next to public telephone and toilets.

A peacful woodland setting at the foot of Glenesk. There are numerous historical and interesting areas in the vicinity - Glamis Castle, House of Dun, House of Pitmuies Garden and Royal Deeside.

On site there are many amenities including; hook-ups, hot showers, launderette, outside payground and games room. Calor Gas is available.

The Glen offers unlimited scope for walkers and is a natural habitat for unparalled bird and wildlife. If you appreciate beutiful, unspoilt countryside you will be delighted with Glenesk and the surrounding areas.

Touring Caravans

There are 40 touring pitches, all with electric hook-ups.

Each pitch is an individual bay with a hardcore base, set amongst the natural birch trees.

Divided equally either side of the reception block half the pitches are facing or near the park's lochen. The remainder are in round groups of 5 to 10 pitches.

Camping

Tents small and large are accommodated in a seperate area on the the park. This is a terraced bank in three tiers giving campers a slightly elevated position. South facing this is a natural sun trap during most of the day.
