Ancestral Heritage

At the moment we can offer some generic links to websites that will assist you to find general information.  However, there are some people who can offer more specific information about certain areas, and we will include their contact details as these become available. 

We would also like to invite anyone who has an interest in the genealogy of their area to contact the website and allow us to post their contact details.

Ms. Flora Davidson is a professional genealogist (retired) who has compiled an index, and database, of the population of Cortachy and Clova during the 18th and 19th Centuries.   Ms. Davidson can be contacted at flora@flodge.f9.co.uk

Angus & Dundee Ancestral Forum

The Angus & Dundee Ancestral Forum is a new initiative that aims to offer a high quality visitor experience to those visitors who wish to access archive centres and explore sites connected to their forefathers.
A comprehensive website is scheduled to go online in October 2006, with which the Angus Glens Website will be reciprocally linked.  Further details to follow as these become available.
