Of all the Angus Glen, the least familiar to visitors must be Lethnot, yet it is well worth a visit. A great sense of peace is felt here among the bare slopes and heather clad hills in this Glen nestling behind the two Caterthun Hill Forts.

You can get to Lethnot from Edzell, Little Brechin or Menmuir and the West Water is the river that flows down Lethnot.

You will find in Lethnot another Glen with it's own unique scenery and personality of which the words, solid and strong, silent and peaceful, with no frills, sum it up the best.
