Hillwalking
As with all of the Angus Glens there is a variety of Hillwalking available. The hills in the area are generally not too steep and are criss crossed with many hill roads and paths. It is worth remembering that there are working farms and estates in the glens and you will not be thanked for leaving gates open or blocking them with cars.
Cortachy Path Network
The Cortachy and Dykehead path system has been designed to provide a network of attractive, easily followed walks through a variety of terrain.
None of the walks is unduly difficult, although the walks up to the Airlie Monument include a steady climb. The reward is a splendid panoramic view of the Angus countryside and hills. Read More
