The Memus and Cortachy area contains a wide and varied landscape, from the low-lying ground of the Strathmore valley, to the high hills at the edge of the Highlands.
The area is dotted with areas of woodland, and is crossed by several rivers and streams.
The area contains three glens: Glen Moy, Glen Quiech and Glen Ogil, all of which are filled with a multitude of wildlife, including red and roe deer, grouse and pheasants, and many other species.
